Churat Lake is one of the most fascinating lake in Iran. This lake in the heart of Mazandaran forest and it is one of the few natural lakes in Iran caused by an earthquake. In 1318, due to a landslide, there was an earthquake that caused a natural dam in the direction of the fountain to the formation of the Churat Lake.
